Bon bon chicken is very healthy dish as it’s not stir fried or deep fried, therefore it contains less far and very popular among people who are on diet restriction.
Cooking the chicken breast slowly with the residual heat keeps the chicken moist and tender. Please be sure to check that the chicken is cooked thoroughly. For the sesame sauce, I chose to replace sugar with honey. The slightly thicker sauce, mixed in with the meat and vegetables made for a delicious meal.

Ingredients
- 100 g Chicken Breast
- 80 g Cabbage
- 170 g Tomato
- 15 g Sesame Seeds
- 20 g Miso
- 10 g Honey
- 5 g Daikon Radish
- 15 g Sesame Oil
Instructions
- First, soak up any extra moisture from the chicken breasts using paper towels, then remove the tendons.
- Place the chicken in a pot with water and bring it to a boil.
- Once it is boiling, cut the heat, cover the pot, and leave for about 30 minutes.
- While waiting, chop the cabbage, and cut the tomato into wedges. Boil, then strain the cabbage.
- To make the Sesame sauce, mix together all of the necessary ingredients.
- Next, once the chicken is cooked all the way through, dip it in cold water to cool it off, and use your hands to break it into smaller chunks.
- To finish up, lay out some cabbage on your serving plates, and top it with the chicken and tomatoes.
